RECOMMENDED USE

Take one tablet up to three times daily, with or without food, under the supervision of a health care professional with prescribing authority. Heme iron polypeptide is a hemoglobin-derived product and should be discontinued from use for at least three days prior to and three days during a stool occult blood test.5 Each Proferrin Forte tablet contains 12 mg elemental iron as heme iron polypeptide, and 1 mg folic acid.
